Love it or not! This is pure automotive engineering genius!!! Any True Car Nut can totally appreciate what goes into these cars weather you like German cars, American Cars, Japanese Cars or whatever! Until American Automakers step there game up to this level, "Shut Up"! Sure we have the corvette but even as incredible as it is,? In the beginning it was the project of VW self, to make this car. But it was too expensive for them (maybe because of the license), each complete? car came to about 6 million euros. That's why VW sold this project to Bugatti.

@dime6664ever 4000 hp V8 has shorter life expectation because of overstretched pistons. Plus dragsters use special fuel and the gearbox cannot handle such power for 10-20 years. Notice how difficult those vehicles have to put their power on the ground. Have your forgotten Corvette has 7L? V8 engine and Dodge Viper has 8.4L V10 engine which is bigger than Veyron quad-turbo W16. Remember Veyron is an extreme GT, not a dragster.

@RocketNothing Actually when I posted the comment I? hadn't. I've since found out that the 458, gallardo and a few other cars are on fire quite a lot. I can't see how the hell the get through testing and safety inspections when this kind of thing can happen. I know there can be issues after sale but you would imagine these would be fairly limited to things like clutches grabbing or something. Being on fire is to me a bit unacceptable really - regardless who makes it or how low volume.

As far as I? can make out, low-volume manufacturers, i.e. ones that only make about 5/10 cars a year, are exempt from crash testing etc. This is how these incredibly expensive machines like the T1 and the Tramontana get away with it.Also, Caparo have been pretty much on the ball to address the many issues that have cropped up during development of this amazing motor. Considering it doesnt need a huge pit crew to be driven on the road,? this is one hell of a machine.

I just can't see how a car with so many serious issues ever got the green light. If there are problems that cause fires that's got to be a fail on some part of sva. Either that? or each one isn't built to the standard required to keep them flame free. There really is no excuse. Even top level race cars don't burst into flames as often.

The music on this was an ok version but I have to say the music from the Amiga version was better, it sounds just as good coming out of an STE and could have easily have been added to such a simple but great game. I played this on ST & amiga back in? the day and thought the gameplay was fantastic, one of the best two player games where you wanted to kill your opponent for real when the blew your car up and then crossed the finishing line while laughing their ass off...
