@InSaNeNuKeBoY Not really...drove a V8 vantage the other day, and this company is all talk. They just don't perform very well. And they are DEFINITELY not worth the price. The good things about it is obviously the design, engine sound, handling and interiors. The acceleration is poor and if you get? the automatic, the gear shifts are horribly jerky. I really expected much more from a car this expensive.

Cool but fake? I live in downtown LA. You can tell this video was filmed on top of the Olive Parking Structure at 635 S. Olive Street. Video is shot looking north - you can see City National Bank and the Biltmore Hotel to the north. Google ruler tool? shows the structure to be 150 ft long. I have? to say, this is actually a very good video. I have been a massive fan of Aston Martin for a long time. However the recent videos I have seen in regards to the Cygnet have not been very good. I also seem to remember Aston trying to make a story-based video before? About the Virage or Rapide, with a bond theme and a bazooka at the end but I don't recall and in all honestly it was awful. However after seeing this one I am impressed. I really did enjoy it. Well done to the student involved.

People having a go at Aston for this car are ridiculous. No, it's not ideal for their brand but yes, they had to make it. Yes, it uses the Toyota IQ as a starting point but have you actually sat in both? I have. The Aston has a luxurious feel and great detail for a city car with all the added extras you could ask for. And yes, that is why it is more money. I'm not defending the price - but? wouldn't it be worse for the brand if it were cheap enough for lots of people to be running around in them?

The father of all Modern Astons (Vanquish is the grandfather :D). This is THE Aston I desire. I might consider looking for early models (2005-2006) in the near future. What I like about the early models is that it has? that push button start made of crystal rather than that ECU key thing. I'd be looking for one with cream leather and sporting British racing green exterior (yeah, like what Clarkson drove in the Car Vs train challenge). I find that particular DB9 quite special.

@kissmeraas I thought about that but then I realized that all Astons have two vents close to the windshield that are barely noticeable? and that the DB9, with the same engine as this, makes do with just two. And besides, there are simple adjustments to the cooling that would make it a non-issue.

@ismainau Brabus is a tuning company. They don't actually make engines. Compared though to the V12s in the? Ferrari 599 and the new Lamborghini Aventador, it's not as powerful. It's not even as powerful as the V10 engine in the last two generations of the Dodge Viper. But frankly, I love the sound of that engine. It doesn't sound so sterile and whiny like Ferrari and Lambo's V12, and it growls more like a lion then a dog, like an American engine.

@apoelg aston martins arent slow they're just not the fastest supercar thats all but their performance isnt too bad, the dbs can do a 12.3 second 1/4 mile, the v12? vantage can do a 12.5 second 1/4 mile, vanquish s can do a 11.8 second 1/4 mile as well 204 mph top speed, and the 177 can probably do an 11.3 or 11.4 second 1/4 mile as well as 220 mph top speed, so aston martins are arent slow at all
