If british race drivers say that foreign car is better than their own, then you're absolutely sure they're telling the truth. Also, dont forget that MP4-12C was actually developed on the track on which they're driving in this video, and is still not faster than 458, but that doesnt matter. You wont care about lap times when driving? a car on the road.

Remember FifthGear? was brought back on air after being acquired by TopGear The real funny part of it all is the fact that Fifth Gear is actually the original TopGear now renamed after its cancelation. the current topgear was resurected by jeremy clarkson and partners taking the original title but not the entire crew.

@MagneticG8 120mph isn't fast.. It's only about 193kph. Modern cars are governed at the speed rating of their tires, so if the tires are "S" rated, that's for 180kph, which are most common since the 90s. More tires are rated for 190 (118mph), which is probably around the top speed of the Focus. Those tires should rated H. The ungoverned version of my car (top speed 240kph) has V-rated tires. Z, W and Y are 240, 270 and 300kph, respectively.? My car reaches 190kph very easily.

When it comes to PPT the Evo has the advantage ... But when it comes to handling the power in the corners the GTR has got the brains and Lotus developed chassis to help ... Umm so tiff a pro racer only ran 3 seconds faster in the GT-R over a pretty blah driver who didn't seem to understand that the EVO AWD system is set up to NOT lose grip in ANY tires and so the back is not suppose to get? free and you can really push it into the corner. More then what is considered sane in pretty much any other car. Yeah the GT-R is gonna win vs the FQ400 obviously as the FQ400 is a pretty mild set up for an EVO that you spent ~$75,000 on, but they really should have tiff do both.

@tomgunc I'd say my old 335i is close enough to M3 that paying 20K for M3 is not terribly justified. You need to actually drive M3 to feel how not very fantastic it is in daily driving. One other thing... the 135i really has a 404hp engine, detuned to 300. For around $2500 you can have your BMW dealer dial it up for you without affecting the factory warranty. Add a $700 4"? down pipe, and your in the mid-11s through the quarter mile and the mid-to-high 3s to 60. Bottom line: DO NOT race a 135i, anything could be hiding under that hood.

Ive always been more of a fan of Tiff Needell considering he? has been racing professionally before becoming a motoring journalist. He can truly give an accurate review of a vehicle and push it far more than most of us can even get close to. When someone like Jeremy Clarkson on the other hand gives a review about the handling of a car, I just roll my eyes. Jeremy Clarkson needs to be coached on his driving and therefore shouldn't speak of the limits of such a car. He just doesnt have the skill.

Tiff has an elegant skill in being able to? manage a beast like the Apollo, and he picks up on the car's nuances very quickly. All the while he's performing some pretty articulate narration. I can't imagine it's easy to try the two at the same time.
