@amartinjoe dude, you can make a 1000 hp 350 chevy, there are rednecks with 2000+ hp mud bogging trucks with 8 less cylinders and only a supercharger, and some guys with little racing experience with 3000-4000 hp cars, well race cars, my point is that you dont need GERMANS to build fast cars,? just look at the worlds fastest piston powered car, it measured only 357 ci chevy small block and went 460 mph

@tommeister68 Now come off it! The original Bugatti works stopped production after the Second World War. Twice? they tried to get it back on the market again, but failed. Then Volkswagen bought all the Bugatti rights, developed this car, and really got Bugatti going again; and that´s it. There is absolutely nothing french about Bugatti except that it is being manufactured in that country, and thats for marketing reasons only.

Love it or not! This is pure automotive engineering genius!!! Any True Car Nut can totally appreciate what goes into these cars weather you like German cars, American Cars, Japanese Cars or whatever! Until American Automakers step there game up to this level, "Shut Up"! Sure we have the? corvette but even as incredible as it is, It's still a mass produced vehicle thats awesomely designed but doesn't have the quality workmanship that goes into vehicles like this... This car wasn't built to be a beautiful car, it was meant to be the beast that it is & a lot of it's styling is intentional to keep it on the ground... "It's a land-jet"... the beauty of it totally pops out at you in person in absolute amazement. In the beginning it was the project of VW self, to make this car. But it was too expensive for them (maybe because of the license), each complete car came? to about 6 million euros. That's why VW sold this project to Bugatti.
